Tommy Grabowski founded Vita in 2004. Dr. Grabowski received his Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University-Nebraska and his Master’s and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Concordia University-Wisconsin. He is also a licensed massage therapist and graduate of the Blue Sky School of Professional Massage in Grafton, Wisconsin. As a collegiate athlete, Dr. Grabowski participated in football, track & field, and cross country, receiving All-America honors in the latter two sports. He is also an accomplished second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was the 1992 Nebraska Junior Olympic gold medalist, later invited to train for the US National Team.
Dr. Grabowski has been featured as a consultant for numerous local media and hosted a fitness show “Training with Tommy” on Time Warner Cable. His unique blend of academic/clinical background and experience in athletics and fitness has helped him develop an integrated concept bridging physical medicine and fitness. This innovative approach has helped make Vita the premier, medically-oriented fitness center in the Milwaukee area.
Dr. Grabowski incorporates manual therapy treatments such as joint mobilization, neuromuscular therapy, Trigger-Point Dry Needling, and myofascial release techniques with corrective movement exercises and treats patients from a wide range of functional levels, from post surgical to elite athlete. He is certified in Functional Capacity Evaluations
Brad earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison (2008 and 2011). Brad has been a licensed and practicing physical therapist since receiving his degree in 2011. Prior to coming to Vita Physical Therapy & Fitness Brad worked in Manitowoc, WI.
Brad is a motivated and passionate clinician and brings 3 years of orthopedic clinical experience treating patients of all ages and varying backgrounds for musculoskeletal disorders of the spine, extremities and TMJ. He completed a clinical internship with the Milwaukee Brewers in Arizona.
Brad places a large emphasis on evidence-based practice and utilizes strong manual therapy skills and selective strength and stabilization exercises to help each patient achieve their individual goals.
During his time at Madison Brad remained active with resistance training, basketball, golf, tennis and volleyball. Brad enjoys staying active and spending time with friends and family. Brad loves working with all individuals and will take a comprehensive approach to your rehabilitation. He treats his patients as he would his own family, and will address all factors that contribute to your pain and limitation to allow you to resume living a full and active life.
Joe Glostott graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at MATC in 2016. He has clinical experience in multiple settings, including outpatient orthopedic and acute care. He is a certified level 2 practitioner of Primal Reflex Release Technique, which in many patients can decrease pain and improve spontaneity of movement almost immediately.
Outside of the clinic, Joe stays very active with a variety of movement practices including Brazilian jiu-jitsu, juggling, kettlebell workouts, and yoga. He also enjoyed a previous career in music, and brings his expertise in both gross and fine motor skills learning to his treatment sessions with each and every client at Vita.
